Jamie Cook

Director

Mrs. Jamie Cook has been an Early Childhood educator for 26 years. Starting as a teacher, she taught infants through Pre-K 4 for 18 years. She has a Certificate of Technology in Early childhood Education, an AAS in Early Childhood Development and Education from San Jacinto College, a BAS in Early Childhood Education and Leadership from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and a Master in Education with a specialization in working with children with ASD from American Public University.

She has been a Director for 8 years. Besides working in Early Childhood centers, Mrs. Jamie is also a Texas Registered Trainer where she mentors teachers and directors, helping them to become the best educators they can be and is a Professional Development Specialist helping teachers to get the CDA.

Christian Carmona

Assistant Director

Christina has been a valued member of the Lighthouse Academy team for five years, beginning her journey as an infant teacher. With her dedication, compassion, and expertise in early childhood development, Christina quickly built strong relationships with both the children and their families.

In her current role as Assistant Director, Christina plays a pivotal role in ensuring the academy runs smoothly. She collaborates closely with staff to maintain a nurturing and educational environment, oversees daily operations, and supports the professional growth of her colleagues. Christina is known for her exceptional communication skills, creative problem-solving, and unwavering commitment to the academy's mission.

Her passion for fostering meaningful connections with families and children has made her an indispensable part of the Lighthouse community. Christina’s enthusiasm and leadership inspire everyone around her, making the academy a warm and welcoming place for all.
