Meet the Team

Jamie Cook

Director

Mrs. Jamie Cook has been an Early Childhood educator for 26 years. Starting as a
teacher, she taught infants through Pre-K 4 for 18 years. She has a Certificate of
Technology in Early childhood Education, an AAS in Early Childhood Development and
Education from San Jacinto College, a BAS in Early Childhood Education and
Leadership from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and a Masters in Education with a
specialization in working with children with ASD from American Public University. She
has been a Director for 8 years. Besides working in Early Childhood centers, Mrs. Jamie
is also a Texas Registered Trainer where she mentors teachers and directors, helping
them to become the best educators they can be and is a Professional Development
Specialist helping teachers to get the CDA. Teaching is not just about filling minds, but
about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. A love of learning has
a lot to do with learning that we are loved. – Fred Rogers.
