Some benefits our center encompasses:

* Lighthouse Learning Academy is an individually owned childcare center with a new, innovative building design.

* We provide early education for children 6 weeks up to 12 years old.

* Hours of Operation: 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

* Transportation- We service local elementary schools, Goforth, Ferguson, Hyde, Stewart, San Leon, Silbernagel, and K.E. Little. We transport children to and from these schools.

* Creative Curriculum Based Education- Each classroom focuses on a curriculum that stresses age-appropriate activities.

* Closed Concept Classrooms- Each age group has their own individual classroom that is completely enclosed and insulated to ensure quality education without interruption.

* Spanish Lessons- Integrated in our curriculum are basic Spanish skills, such as their numbers, colors, and commonly used words.

* Music Classes- covering basic music instruments and favorite children's songs.

Building & Safety Features

To maintain a safe and secure environment for our children, we have implemented many safety features into our building, as well as in our daily routine.

* Enclosed Playground- In our innovative building design, we have created an enclosed  courtyard for the children's playground. This allows the children to run and play freely but also helps ensure their safety.

* Closed Circuit Surveillance Cameras- We have placed televisions in the lobby of the center for parents to view their children in the classroom when needed and for the Director to keep abreast of all classroom activities.

* Safety Room- We have a safety room in our center that is totally enclosed and has no windows to the outside. This helps protect the children's safety in case of tornado or an emergency situation.

* Conventional wood and stone building that meets all local and state safety codes.

* Fire/Tornado Drills

Meals

We follow a two week rotation in our lunch menu to maintain diversity and choice for your children. All meals meet or exceed the state minimum standards guidelines.  Everyday our center provides in-house cooked meals, that are included in the cost of tuition, and include the following:
